If you are funny then everyone around you will love you're presence. People love a presenter who knows when to execute humor in his or her presentation. This will no only help you to be calm while presenting, but it would also offer a better ambiance for everyone around that is listening. The more comfortable they are with you, the more they would pay attention. The one thing you have to be careful of is knowing exactly when to be funny to your advantage. Don't over do it, or else they will think you're trying too hard!
